Arrows

Are you looking for an Historically accurate looking arrow that you can actually shoot at competition?  Look no further!  I think my arrows are some of the most beautiful around, and they shoot great too!

All of my in stock "Medieval" model arrows will have the following attributes / characteristics in common:

  • Shafting is of Port Orford cedar and will be stained either red mahogany or have a two tone color scheme.
  • All nocks are hand cut and shaped by me to run perpendicular to the grain of the shaft for strength.
  • All fletchings are installed with a right helical twist.
  • All arrows are sealed by the staining process and I take an extra step by coating them with a second layer of very thin beeswax.
  • All in stock arrows will come with standard 125 grain steel field points (I have a medieval looking target bodkin available for an additional fee of $15 per 6 points)

Of course I make arrows custom as well.  I have a wide selection of feather colors to include white, black, green, red, yellow, blue, grey, traditional barred, red barred, green barred, black barred, yellow barred and blue barred.  I can also change the sinew color, I currently have natural, black, blue, red and green.  I can make arrows with 3,4, and 6 fletches and I can alter the cut of the fletchings to some degree.

The arrows below are in stock and are a good representation of the work I do. Contact me on the "As the Crow flies" page to make a purchase.
